I help people live healthier, more embodied lives by guiding them to reconnect with their bodies and integrate their physical, emotional, and energetic selves. My work blends therapeutic somatics, neuromuscular rehabilitation, strength development, and mindfulness to support you in developing body awareness, emotional regulation, and resilience. Together, we’ll move from disconnection into wholeness, fostering healing that lasts.

This journey is deeply personal for me. After navigating my own path through disconnection, I realized that not everything could be understood or healed through intellect alone. I discovered the transformational power of tuning into the body—movement became my medicine, and it now forms the heart of how I support others.

Working with me is a collaborative, individualized experience. I’m here to walk alongside you as we explore your unique journey toward a more connected and vibrant life.

In my one-on-one sessions, I create a safe and nurturing space for somatic expression, breathwork, strength building, and gentle integration practices. Each session is tailored specifically to meet you where you are, utilizing a trauma-informed approach that adapts to your unique needs, whether you’re dealing with injuries, chronic conditions, or other challenges. Together, we’ll explore how to move through trauma, reconnect with your intuition, and rebuild a strong and grounded foundation in your body.

Before I am a therapist, I am a real, open-hearted person who deeply values connection and truly listening. In my work as a Registered Psychotherapist, I offer a space where you can exhale, slow down, and gently make sense of what’s been feeling heavy—without pressure to have it all figured out.

I work with children, teens, and young adults navigating anxiety, ADHD, emotional regulation, self-esteem, mood shifts, burnout, stress, and life transitions. You don’t need the perfect words—just come as you are.

My approach is integrative and always tailored to you. I draw from ACT, narrative therapy, somatic work, mindfulness, emotion-focused therapy, Internal Family Systems, and family systems work, all within a trauma-informed, nervous-system-aware lens. At its heart, my work is about helping you feel more grounded, more understood, and more connected to yourself again.

I also have a deep softness for working with children, meeting them through play, creativity, and presence—especially when big feelings are hard to put into words.

You don’t have to face it all on your own. My role as a therapist is to create a grounded, non-judgmental space where you can feel safe to explore whatever is coming up for you—whether that’s anxiety, trauma, relationship struggles, or a general sense of being stuck.

My approach is warm, collaborative, and trauma-informed, drawing from evidence-based practices like mindfulness, somatic awareness, and emotion-focused therapy. I believe that therapy should feel like a place where you can exhale—where your unique story is honoured, and your strengths gently reflected back to you.

With experience supporting individuals and couples through a wide range of life experiences, I have a special interest in working with anxiety and mood disorders, relational patterns, and the lasting impacts of trauma. No matter where you are on your journey, my goal is to walk alongside you—to help you reconnect with yourself, make sense of your experiences, and move forward with greater clarity and self-trust.

Healing isn’t linear, and you don’t need to have it all figured out to begin. You just need a space to start. I’d be honoured to hold that space with you.

My path into osteopathy began years ago while working as a Registered Practical Nurse in the mental health field. I saw firsthand how our healthcare system often focuses only on symptoms — and I couldn’t shake the feeling that something was missing. I wanted to understand the whole person — not just the body, but the mind and the deeper layers of what makes us human.

That curiosity led me to explore more holistic approaches to healing, which eventually brought me to study osteopathic manual therapy at the National Academy of Osteopathy. It completely shifted how I view health — as something dynamic, connected, and deeply personal.

In my sessions, I take a gentle and individualized approach. My goal is to help you feel more at ease in your body and to support your natural ability to heal. Every treatment is tailored to you — combining techniques like joint mobilization, muscle energy, and soft tissue work to release tension, restore balance, and help your body function the way it’s meant to.

What I love most about this work is seeing how interconnected we really are — how physical tension, emotional stress, and even the way we move through life all weave together. My hope is that each session not only brings relief but helps you build awareness and confidence in your body’s resilience.

When I’m not in the clinic, you’ll find me spending time with my wife, daughter, and our fur babies — camping, hiking, or sitting by the fire with a good coffee. Fitness has always been an important part of my life; it’s how I stay grounded and show up as my best self. And when it’s time to unwind, there’s a good chance I’m catching a football game or some NASCAR racing.

My path into this work started over 15 years ago, supporting children and youth in the foster care system. Those early years taught me so much about resilience, compassion, and what it means to truly be there for someone. From there, I spent time in frontline mental health — in both inpatient and outpatient settings — walking alongside people through some of their hardest moments. Those experiences shaped me deeply and planted the seed for what would one day become Nurturing Roots — a space built on gentleness, connection, and whole-person healing.

Over time, my passion for wellness and holistic healing grew stronger — especially through my own life experiences and the seasons that changed me. I began weaving together traditional psychotherapy with mindfulness, breathwork, and meditation, creating sessions that honour the mind, body, and spirit as one.

In our work together, we’ll look beneath the surface to understand what your body and emotions are really trying to say — not just to “fix” things, but to help you feel safe, connected, and more at home within yourself. Whether we’re in my cozy office, meeting online, or even outside surrounded by nature, my hope is that you’ll always feel supported, seen, and understood.

I feel especially called to support parents and mothers who are feeling overwhelmed, disconnected, or healing from birth trauma — as well as young adults, first responders, and wellness professionals who spend so much energy caring for others.

Outside of my work, you’ll find me soaking up nature — hiking, kayaking, sitting by the water, or curled up by the fire with a good book and a cup of tea. Fall is my favourite season — something about the cozy change in the air just feels grounding. My greatest joy comes from time with my husband, daughter, and our fur babies — they’re my anchor and biggest supporters in this beautiful, messy, ever-evolving life.
