My discovery of Osteopathy started years ago after working in a system which focused on symptoms and recognizing the need for a more holistic, full-body and mind approach to healing. I have spent the majority of my career as a Registered Practical Nurse working in mental health settings. Through this work, I was determined to understand and explore alternative healing modalities which embodied the mind, body and soul. I continued my studies in osteopathic manual therapy and graduated from the National Academy of Osteopathy (NAO).

I provide gentle and effective care and am dedicated to helping my patients achieve optimal health and wellness. With a passion for understanding the intricate relationships between body, mind and soul, I tailor my treatments to address each individual’s unique needs. My goal is to empower you with knowledge and strategies for life-long wellbeing. I view the body as an interconnected whole and my approach honours this unity, addressing physical and emotional aspects of health. My focus is to help you identify and release patterns of tensions, promoting self-healing and balance through the use of manual therapy skills including joint mobilization, muscle energy techniques and soft tissues techniques.

Outside of my professional life, you will find me spending time with my wife and daughter, camping, hiking and sitting by the fire. My journey as a therapist began over 15 years ago, supporting children and youth in the foster system, which evolved to working in frontline mental health services, both inpatient and outpatient settings. These moments shaped and influenced my drive to pursue my dreams of helping others proactively to nurture our minds and bodies. My passion for wellness and holistic healing was further ignited through personal experiences and life-changing moments.

I combine traditional psychotherapy with holistic practices including mindfulness, breathwork and meditation into each session. My approach honours the interconnectedness of mind, body and spirits, and I support individuals to cultivate self-awareness, emotional regulation and healing the self as a whole. Whether we are in the calming office space, connecting virtually or embracing the beautiful outdoors, I aim to make you feel supported, understood, and empowered to lead a more fulfilling life. Together, we will delve into the root causes of your challenges as we embrace a whole body and mind approach to healing.

I am passionate about working with parents and mothers who have experienced birth trauma or are feeling overwhelmed, disconnected and not enough as well as supporting young adults, wellness entrepreneurs and first responders.

Outside of my professional life, you will find me outdoors – hiking, kayaking, sitting by the water, reading, and having a fire.
