Therapy at Nurturing Roots provides a holistic approach to healing, both virtually and in-person. We understand that true well-being means caring for both mind and body — addressing the roots of stress, anxiety, and trauma while also building tools for resilience and growth. Together, we’ll explore patterns, strengthen coping strategies, and foster a deeper connection between your inner world and daily life.

Osteopathy
Gentle hands-on therapy to ease pain and improve mobility.
Osteopathy is a holistic, hands-on therapy that restores balance to your body’s structure — muscles, joints, fascia, and organs — so your whole system can function more freely. Using subtle, precise techniques, osteopathy helps release restrictions, improve mobility, and calm an overworked nervous system. It’s especially supportive for pain, injuries, headaches, digestive issues, and stress patterns held deep in the body. Clients often notice not just physical relief, but a sense of deep relaxation and overall well-being.
Restorative Reiki (Energy Therapy)
A calming treatment to reset your body and mind.
Restorative Reiki is a gentle, non-invasive practice that uses light touch or hands just above the body to encourage deep relaxation and balance. Many clients describe it as a soothing, almost meditative experience — like their whole body finally exhaled.
Sessions help quiet the mind, ease tension, and restore a sense of inner calm, leaving you feeling lighter, more centred, and deeply refreshed.
Therapeutic Embodiment (Body-Based Approach)
Gentle movement and breathwork to release tension and reconnect with your body.
Therapeutic Embodiment is a body-based approach that helps you calm your nervous system and feel more at ease in your own skin. Through guided movement, breath, and awareness practices, you’ll explore how stress, emotions, and old patterns show up in the body — and gently learn how to release them.
Clients often notice a greater sense of grounding, connection, and calm, with tools they can carry into daily life. It’s especially supportive if you’ve been feeling stuck, tense, or disconnected from yourself.
Wellness Coaching
Through coaching, we can help you identify and address the root causes or issues by allowing you to cultivate a deeper understanding of yourself, build resilience, and achieve your goals. We take a holistic approach to understanding you and all the elements we embody, including rest, food, water, body, mindset, relationships, purpose, careers, and finances. We explore balanced areas and areas we will focus on to create a more fulfilling life. All the elements that make us whole rest in a web of interconnectedness. Every action and decision you make affects another area of your life.
