Welcome to Nurturing Roots Wellness
Counselling
Therapy at Nurturing Roots is offered both in-person and virtually, with care that honours the whole person - mind, body, and lived experience. We know that stress, anxiety, and trauma don’t just live in our thoughts; they show up in our bodies, relationships, and day-to-day lives too.
In therapy, we move at a pace that feels safe and supportive. Together, we’ll gently explore patterns, build practical tools for coping, and strengthen your capacity to feel steady, connected, and resilient - both within yourself and in the world around you.
Whether you’re navigating burnout, big life transitions, emotional overwhelm, or simply feeling stuck, therapy can be a place to pause, be heard, and begin reconnecting with what helps you feel grounded again.
We also offer a free 30-minute discovery call by phone or video - a relaxed, no-pressure way to ask questions, share what you’re looking for, and see if it feels like a good fit. Osteopathy
Osteopathy is a gentle, hands-on approach that supports your body in finding more ease, balance, and mobility. Using subtle touch, your osteopath works with muscles, joints, connective tissue, and the nervous system to release tension and restore natural movement.
Many people come to osteopathy for things like ongoing pain, injuries, headaches, digestive discomfort, or when their body feels tight, stressed, or “stuck.” Rather than forcing change, osteopathy listens to what your body needs and helps it settle and reorganize at its own pace.
Sessions often feel deeply calming. Clients commonly notice not only physical relief, but a sense of relaxation, grounding, and improved overall well-being as if their body can finally take a full breath.
Osteopathy can be supportive on its own or alongside therapy and other forms of care, especially when stress or life experiences are showing up in the body.
Reiki & Somatic Support
Reiki & Somatic Support is a gentle, nervous-system-informed session that blends energy work with guided breath awareness and simple, facilitated movement to support regulation, release, and reconnection with the body.
Reiki helps the nervous system settle and feel safe enough to soften. Somatic practices gently support the body in noticing and releasing areas of holding through breath, sensation, and small movements. Together, they create a calm, body-led experience that allows tension and stress to unwind without forcing or verbal processing.
Sessions are slow, supportive, and paced by what the body is ready for. Some sessions are quieter and restorative, while others include more breath or movement, depending on capacity that day.
This service is especially supportive for stress, overwhelm, nervous system fatigue, and body-held tension. It can be booked on its own or alongside therapy or osteopathy as part of whole-person care.
No prior experience with Reiki or somatic work is needed.
Wellness Bundles
Our bundles were created for those seasons when your body is carrying more than you realize - stress, tension, overwhelm, or that sense of being “on” all the time. Each bundle combines osteopathy and somatic/Reiki care to support both the physical and emotional layers of what you’re holding.
These 3-session paths help you release tension, calm your nervous system, and reconnect with yourself in a way that feels supported, not rushed. They’re ideal if you’re feeling stuck, burnt out, sore, or simply craving a more integrated approach to wellness.

Wellness Coaching
Through coaching, we can help you identify and address the root causes or issues by allowing you to cultivate a deeper understanding of yourself, build resilience, and achieve your goals. We take a holistic approach to understanding you and all the elements we embody, including rest, food, water, body, mindset, relationships, purpose, careers, and finances. We explore balanced areas and areas we will focus on to create a more fulfilling life. All the elements that make us whole rest in a web of interconnectedness. Every action and decision you make affects another area of your life.
